The M/S Braune is a self-propelled work pontoon with a bow door to be used in coastal protection assignments. Its size, stability and load capacity makes it especially suitable for the accommodation of large equipment.
Equipped with anchor piles at bow and stern, it can be accurately positioned and moored. In tidal flats or in shore areas it can fall dry.
The M/S Braune can be used for many purposes:
  • for the production of Colcrete mortar
  • for excavation/dredging work
  • for pile-driving work
  • for unloading and placing of riprap
  • for the production and the placement of fascine mattresses

Depending on the work to be carried out, M/S Braune can be equipped with additional devices.
