The M/S Friederike is a self-propelled work pontoon with bow door.
Due to its powerful engine capacity and its very good maneuverability, it is especially suited as transport and work vessel for coastal protection work. Equipped with anchor piles at bow and stern, it can be accurately positioned and moored. In tidal flats or in-shore areas it can fall dry. The M/S Friederike can be used for many purposes, e.g.:
  • for the production and placing of Colcrete mortar
  • for excavation/dredging work
  • for pile-driving work
  • for unloading and placing of riprap
  • for the production and placing of fascine mattresses
Depending on the work to be carried out, the M/S Friederike will be equipped with additional devices.
