Ferdinand

The Ferdinand is a big and powerful carrier vessel for assembly, pile-driving and excavation work. The vessel is mainly used in coastal areas, in harbours and in maritime waterways.

Maneuvering and mooring are carried out by means of 3 hydraulic rope winches of 100 kN each and 2 anchor piles, each with a length of 20 m.

The pontoon has a ballasting system.

For pile-driving work, the work pontoon is usually equipped with the cable-operated crawler crane Hitachi SCX 900. The boom has a length of 42 m. The maximum load capacity with a boom length of 4 m is 90 tons.
